Randomly sparked thought while sleeping.

I think, Auveiyar, the lady behind the famous Aathichudi, actually knew English.

So much that, part of me says, what she wanted to tell the folks was,

“Aai teachu di”
With the Indian accent.

“I teach you di”
Clearly seen in English.

But our folks didnt understand English then.
So….you know.

Dream : The train ride.

Posted in Dreams on June 8, 2009 by Kathiravanology

I dream a journey on a train, where his friend(male) befriends another friend (female) and they get along well, during this phase, the guy asked if he could *put his arm around her shoulder*, to which she accepted, without any grudges whatsoever. As they sat down, enjoying one another’s conversation, i am standing alone.

The best i could decipher was

The train represents the jouney of life, usually associating with destiny or future too. The male represents a part of me, probably, my views as a guy or mental strength, the female represents my emotions, the softer side, the shoulder part reflects lifting the burden or helping out. If deciphered correctly, it means, my problems are going to settle down. What i don’t understand is, what does standing alone mean? A friend of mine felt it’s probably me watching it from afar, That my problems will settle down with little effort.

If it’s not this, what did my dream meant?

Kathiravanology -=Gemini=- : Hi Hi

Kathiravanology -=Gemini=- : Eppadi irukke? (How are you?)

Girl : Im gd and fat.

Girl : Urself?

Kathiravanology -=Gemini=- : lol!

It was really hilarious at the point of time. It’s funny how she is not the only one too. Most of the girls on my msn says the same thing too.
I wonder, when will i meet the one, who says, “I think i need to put on a bit more weight”
Will it happen?

[Click picture to enlarge]

During the last day of my module, we were suppose to do a
presentation on a work of art of ours.
There was a part of me, which wanted to explain this work of mine,
But decided to work with the usual group, on a sound production which
turned out equally well.

*I brought forward this post from a earlier date*

The inspiration

Sheena.
A bitter inspiration i must say.

The description

L

The couple on the bench reflects, the understanding of one another, the listening ear.I wanted to eradicate
materialism thus the setting used here is rather, simple, a bench by the beach.

The helping hand, shows the helping of one another from difficult times,
or rather past relationships,if there were one.

Here, both pictures, reflects the initial dating scene, the start of a new life.

O

The 2nd stage, where love becomes blind. The reason why i didn’t give too much
focus to the eye in the middle of the O.

The flowers shows the next stage of a new relationship,
with the parallel effect of the O and the flowers, reflecting equilibrium.

V

Kisses are understandable at this point of time, showing trust and comfort levels.
The butterflies
*Butterfly in stomach* flying away shows, the anxiety of the relationship
are no more, with trust only to stay.
The kissing under the moonlight, once again was done to bring up the idea of a
simple yet beautiful relationship.

E

The ring and the 2 doves flying together shows the best reward to a
successful relationship. Symbolizing marriage.

The holding of hands and the vines right after is done to reflect
the holding on forever till the end of time/death.

Color

Apart from the fact that, black and white are my favourite colour, the reason was because,
they are of exact opposites, which reflect the men and women, the rights and wrong and so on.

Background

Realize the black background making an ascending progress from the lower left corner to the
top, right above the doves and rings? It reflects the growth of love, as it reaches the top,
it still continues or least maintains over time.

Others

From left to right, L to E, is a time line, as mentioned.

For you was written because, that is what it sums up to.

Focal point

I believe the focal point for my work, is based on the heart’s desires of one. It varies.
Yet it was made to be the L, where everything starts.

Friends.

Posted in Uncategorized on June 1, 2009 by Kathiravanology

What is the meaning of a true friend?
Do friends hang around you just because
you have something that they want or do
they hang around you because they actually
enjoy your company…..?

A friend asked me this today.
A question asked frequently by many, answered by many more, yet ever so persistent.
In the social networking world we live in, a spark of thought is easy to read.

From shout outs, pictures to written philosophies and blogs.

It’s funny to read how, friends are numbered, chosen, doors are shut before opening.
We treat everyone like “Guilty before pleading innocent”
as compared to “Innocent before pleading Guilty”
How common are the words “No backstabbers, betrayers etc etc” as if they knew.
And even if they did, are they so different?
Never lied to your first friend, parents? Sure, “i believe”

Then there are the bunch, who have gone to their knees in life, emotionally battered, yet
to take the wrong move, of being selfish, living only for themselves.
Failing to ask themselves one question.
Why should i continue the cycle?

Ever prayed to God or someone you hold up high?
Asked questions? Why does this have to happen?

“Imagine God is your friend,
i believe you tell your problems to him/her, it makes you feel good.
Yet, you cant see, or enjoy their presence.
There comes a point, where you even doubt their existence,
yet, their still your “best friend”.
Ever wondered why?”

Cause you believed.

My Answer.

A true friend is one who gives your freedom and yet opens his doors
when you need something without expecting anything.
A true friend is one who gives you honest opinions and sets you right,
instead of supporting one for every wrongs he/she does.
A true friend is one who doesn’t number his friends or sets them to priorities,
but rather is equal/unbiased.
A true friend is one who is there, waiting patiently,
even if he/she is being hated at some point, or is unwanted.

I could go on, but it leads to somewhat the same thing, give everything right, expect nothing
and continue believing.

It’s ok to get hurt, but it’s wrong to hurt others.
