Went to grab some sweets. And it came up to 2.50. Gave the lady a $10 note, n a 50 cent coin, knowing how shopkeepers love small change. I was expecting my change in as many notes as possible, n here what i got.
In case u didn’t know yer maths,
$10.50 – $2.50 = $8.00
N my change….
$2 Notes – 2 of em
$1 Dollar coins – 2 of em
$0.50 cents – 4 of em
Total: $8.00
I gave that blank stare with all those coins in my hand…i got back way more coins then i gave.
Its Saturday, and here i am working, or more like dreaming, trying to see myself few years from now. Here’s me.
In 2 months: Degree starts / I’m officially 23
In 3 yrs: Holding a degree, Working [Pay of least 3.2k]/ Investing my money /I’m officially 26
[Optional : Hopefully an understanding girl by my side]
In 4 yrs: After working for one year/ Marry above mention girl/ or settle for arranged/ I’m officially 27
In 5 yrs: Both of us working/ A new home/ I’m officially 28
In 7 yrs: Father of twin girls [HOPEFULLY, DO NOT CURSE PLEASE]/Mother can choose to work/Buys car/ I’m officially 30
Alrighto, feel like stopping there. Lol. I really dunno, but i really hope/wish/pray/everything in that line, that it comes true.
But
I’ve no worries to say all this out, i’m being me. haha.
1) You manage to leave your office an hour late.
2) You waited for 45 mins for a specific bus.
3) At the very last min, you failed to meet the person you missed so much.
4) Reached the temple really late.
5) To sum it up, a last min call from boss to ask to come work the next day. Sat!
And somehow, it was fated that i meet my cousin Gowri.
It so explains why everything happened. lol.
Its been a week so far, n i do not see me dragging myself to work. No waking up issues whatsoever. Thou at times, the journey is dull [No young girls, too many aunties ><], i have my psp 
Anyhow, over the week, i changed my perspective again.
I always thought folks who wear those formal crap to work, u know, wear ties n stuff, long sleeves, carrying their suitcase, [same goes for women] are so suppose to be like super educated and like know how to act their age and status. Guess what,i was dead wrong. 3 Examples n here we go.
1)
Location: Payar lebar MRT Station
Offense: Was so engrossed in the Newspaper article, he was actually blocking/delaying folks from taking the escalator. On the way down, he was just standing, and top of it, his hands was so wide spread it really didn’t matter if he was standing to the right or left of the escalator.
2)
Location: Aboard the train
Offense: Ever seen jaws? i bet sharks would’ve freaked out at this guy yawning. He didn’t cover his month n boy! was it loud. I could freaking smell whatever he had for breakfast that instant, esp the smell of coffee. I was so close to puking.
3)
Location: The road near Payar lebar MRT station.
Offense: Ask any Singaporean who has been here. He will tell u, driving along here, is enough to stress u up to quit driving for good at times, esp during peak hrs. Traffic can be that bad. Furthermore, Singaporeans =dangerous drivers. Anyho, this lady who flagged the cab, took close to 5 mins to board the damn thing. WHY? Handphone. She single handedly cost a minor traffic congestion on her own.
I dunno.
Oh! Btw, i hate the new TRAINS, i keep knocking my head onto the handles hanging directly above the sits. Makes me look stupid.

One day near Kovan mrt station
I for one, actually thought this was a bus interchange from a distance. Notice the infrastructure and stuff? After all that walking, this self-imaginary bus interchange of mine has……1 bus stop. For this 1 bus stop, it was such an huge shelter. Excess building materials for the win!
