Incident #1

Childhood buddy and his mom happens to visit us. It felt like it was just yesterday, where all that mattered among us was, how long we were kicking footballs around the house and talked about cartoons. Anyho, back to reality, they didn’t pop in empty handed, they came with a wedding invitation. LOL.

Ah yes, Poor guy is ready to tie the knot. I’m really happy for him thou, n he made me wonder, considering that his only 2-3 yrs older then me…is time really flying that fast…n that means, soon it would be my turn…

Incident #2

Thurs Night

Another Buddy calls. we knew each other for like 7-8 yrs now. He mentioned he was going India, for about 10 days or so, knowing his sarcastic mindset in conversations, i decided to fire the first insult, and asked if he was gonna look for a bride there, he tried to play his way out, n the conversation ended.

Next day.

I found out that….

Idiot was going to India to get MARRIED!! not look for a bride! but get married!! LOL. Its been 3 days now, and i still cant get over this topic. It was like, he applied for part-time degree a few weeks back, and now his getting married. Alas, it’s not in Singapore, and i can’t shee!!

He made me worry, cause, his only 2 yrs older then me…

There is a freaky similarity in the marriages. NO, their not getting married to each other…..Both are targets of ‘Arranged Marriage’.

I cant imagine a couple of sea shells, my birth date and the stars end up deciding my life partner. Can u freaking imagine? If a space shuttle was accidentally mistaken for a star? I could end up losing my chance to marry a Bollywood star :p.
And, considering my single status at the age of 22. ROFL, i foresee the words ‘Arrange marriage’ hitting me in the next few years. Can’t imagine myself writing a speech for my newly ‘Found’ wife, as part of orientation.

And so, a phrase favored by Americans, happens to strike me.

Now, back to our story, Thaipusam 08 was really good. Helped out a couple o kavadi, wrecked my knee joints after spending hrs of standing/walking. Number of Arikandans seemed to have increased, Manage to attend murgesh’s kavadi too*Frgot to take pic thou lol*, music groups are doing better, officials are killing the events as usual, and yes, Traditional Indian girls…never mind…lol.

Too many girls msging me on msn when she’s using the computer lol! It was only 3…god…and it was justu good morning messages. Aside from the claims that i have alot more girls then guys as frens [LIES i tell u LIES!], she told me to do a proper introduction of my GF [She doesn't belive her son is single] But thanks to her….i had this sweet/evil idea. Do a photo with me standing with a bollywood/kollywood actress…..

A new look to an old lesson

Boring friday, so i decided to browse through ‘friendster’. Guess what? Tons of them seems to have love issues…of all ages. Almost everyone had smething different written in their shoutboxes. So it sparked me to browse for some “love quotes” to enlighten me and hopefully the rest. This particular one by Anais Nin caught my eye. And so, i decided to rework on it, with a new art.
